Leaving from Banbury Cross, and a break at Gunwharf Quay before catching the ferry to the island. Optional day trips including Osborne House, a former royal residence in East Cowes. The house was built between 1845 and 1851 for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a summer home and rural retreat.
Barn Dance

Held at The Freemasons Hall in Marlborough Road, thirty-five members enjoyed good company and hilariously chaotic dance moves to the live music provided by the Larkrise Ranters.
Treasure Hunt and Fun Day

A treasure hunt by car in South Northamptonshire ending up at Roy’s palatial spread with a welcoming bacon roll and drink on arrival followed by a ‘full afternoon tea with proper bone china crockery’. Other activities for those who declined the treasure hunt or who had reserves of energy included petanque, archery, swimming and croquet.
