MESSAGE FROM LINDA GREGORY ABOUT HER MOTHER HEATHER WATTS
Mum and Dad, Heather and Gerald Watts, were keen members of the Banbury Evergreens and knew a lot of people there. I believe they stopped attending not long before COVID hit.
Mum was in Lake House care home in recent years. She passed away there on 27th April.
Her funeral will be on Tuesday 26th May at St Mary Magdalene church, Wardington at 1pm.

The original Oxford Waits performed during the reign of Elizabeth I and reached their heyday in the 17th century – the era of the English Civil War. As professional musicians, they supplemented their income in other ways; some ran alehouses and gave dancing lessons in the city. A country dance tune called the Oxford Waits has survived from the early 18th century.
